In the middle of France, near Limoges and the town of Bellac, in the peaceful outskirts of the village of Sissac we will find our beautiful chambres d’hôtes: Les Lauriers. Les Lauriers is the place where you can take your loved one, family or friends to enjoy the tranquility and freedom of rural France. A place where the sun and the shade alternate playfully on a residence of over 7000 m2. Les Lauriers is situated in the rolling countryside of les Monts de Blond. On the private residence you will find our La Maison and La Maison de Maître, Les Lauriers.

Making memories
We offer four romantic guest rooms. Three rooms are located in La Maison de Maître and one garden room. All guest rooms are tidy and will offer you great comfort. La bibliothèque and la salle à manger are two charming rooms where you can enjoy reading a book, playing a game or having a drink and a good conversation. The residence has a lovely solar-panel-heated swimming pool and a wood-fired hot tub.
Every morning we serve the petit dejeuner with freshly baked bread and local delicacies. Naturally, the petit dejeuner is included in the price.
Several times a week we like to provide you with a unique culinary experience, using local products and our own produce from the orchard and garden Would you like to join us for dinner in the evening? This French tradition is called a table d’hôtes.
In the immediate surroundings of our chambres d’hôtes you can endeavor on amazing trips. For example, you can visit the city of Limoges and its medieval half-timbered houses and the Cathédral of Saint-Etienne. And certainly don’t forget the famous porcelain from Limoges. Another excursion could be to walk the wonderful castles route or to spend your day at the picturesque Lac de Saint-Pardoux. At Les Lauriers you find it all: the gastronomic, the relaxation, the nature and culture.

La maison de 1950 a du cachet. ☹Nous aurions aimé qu'il y ait la télévision dans la chambre.Andros22023-10-26Home cooking in a beautiful property ☺ You will receive a warm welcome from the owners Paul and Peggy, and they are justifiably very proud of this fantastic property set in extensive, well maintained grounds with a pool. We were able to park our car right by the front gate and by the time we had sat down and had a beer and a glass of wine with them we felt very comfortable indeed. Our bedroom was on the first floor with views over the rear garden and it was very pleasant indeed and we slept well. Please do take the opportunity if you can to dine at the property, because with Peggy's cordon bleu cooking and Paul's knowledge of local wines I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Most of the ingredients, not only for the evening meal but also breakfast as well, are taken from their own garden, and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal together with another English couple who were staying there as well. The surrounding countryside is very pretty indeed and I would far rather stay at a friendly property like this than at a larger impersonal hotel in a larger town, and we would definitely stay with Paul and Peggy again given the opportunity.Philippe2023-10-03WonderfulFranziska2023-09-28Very Good
