☺Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Paul et Peggy. La chambre est confortable et silencieuse. Nous avons aimé le petit déjeuner ( confiture faite maison 🏡 citron, courgette, gingembre un délice...) . La maison de 1950 a du cachet.
☹Nous aurions aimé qu'il y ait la télévision dans la chambre.

Home cooking in a beautiful property
☺ You will receive a warm welcome from the owners Paul and Peggy, and they are justifiably very proud of this fantastic property set in extensive, well maintained grounds with a pool. We were able to park our car right by the front gate and by the time we had sat down and had a beer and a glass of wine with them we felt very comfortable indeed. Our bedroom was on the first floor with views over the rear garden and it was very pleasant indeed and we slept well.
Please do take the opportunity if you can to dine at the property, because with Peggy's cordon bleu cooking and Paul's knowledge of local wines I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Most of the ingredients, not only for the evening meal but also breakfast as well, are taken from their own garden, and we enjoyed a very pleasant evening meal together with another English couple who were staying there as well.
The surrounding countryside is very pretty indeed and I would far rather stay at a friendly property like this than at a larger impersonal hotel in a larger town, and we would definitely stay with Paul and Peggy again given the opportunity.

☺ Lovely building, nicely restored. Hosts were amazing, very friendly nothing too much trouble. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were restaurant quality. Fresh ingredients (many out of the garden) beautifully cooked and presented. We were greeted with a drink in the garden. All lovely
☹ Lovely bedroom but the bathroom was very small - smallest bath ever! We had an ante room to the bedroom - why not convert to a luxury bathroom?
You could hear road noise when relaxing in the garden.

☺Peggie en Eric zijn uitstekende gastheer en gastvrouw die een prachtig gelegen B&B runnen. Eric was erg behulpzaam met de koffers naar boven brengen. Mooie kamer erg schoon en een heerlijke tuin. Het ontbijt was heerlijke en erg uitgebreid. De avondmaaltijd door Peggy bereid was voortreffelijk.
Kortom een B&B die in onze ogen een 10 verdiend.

Peggy en Paul geven aan “gewoon genieten “ maar dat is te bescheiden. Het is wat ons betreft “bijzonder en fantastisch genieten “ . De gastvrijheid en het heerlijke eten met kleine hapjes tussendoor staat voor top gastvrijheid. Een aanrader voor wie verwend wil worden.
Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Wat hebben wij een fantastische week gehad bij Peggy en Paul. Ontvangst, gastvrijheid en verwennerij waren super. Iedere ochtend genoten en de dag begonnen in het heerlijke zwembad. Tevens weten Peggy en Paul van het ontbijt en het diner een ware culinaire happening te maken. Het was heerlijk. Dank voor alles…chapeau !
We komen zeker nog een keer terug…..

Prachtige locatie en Paul en Peggy zijn bijzonder gastvrij!

Un séjour tout simplement parfait chez Peggy et Paul qui nous ont très agréablement accueilli dans leur belle demeure. Le jardin et le hot tube nous ont tout particulièrement séduit mais aussi le petit déjeuner et évidemment leur hospitalité. Les deux petits chats n’ont pas manqué d’ajouter encore un peu plus de gaité à ce séjour. Nous y reviendrions avec plaisir.
